Using Electric Sound Device Analyzer. |
Environmental Test
| Low Temperature Storage Test | 1. The tested units shall be kept for 24 hours in the environment chamber which is set to the temperature conditions of -40 centigrade.
2. The tested units shall be measured for performance by Electric Sound Device Analyzer tester after leaving the tested units at normal temperature for 5 hours. 3. The changes of Speaker and Microphone sensitivity should not be more then 3dB, compared to the initial level; without deformation, cracking undesirable phenomena. |
| High Temperature Storage Test | 1. The tested units shall be kept for 24 hours in the environmental chamber which is set to the temperature of 55 centigrade.
2. The tested units shall be measured for performance by Electric Sound Device Analyzer tester after leaving the tested units at normal temperature for 5 hours. 3. The changes of Speaker and Microphone sensitivity should not be more than 3dB, compared to the initial level; without deformation, cracking undesirable phenomena. |
| Drop Test (Finished Protect) | 1. Height of drop: 152.4cm.
2. Times of drop: 10 times. 3. Opertating of drop: Take the headband, free-fall 4. The tested units should not become detached except the cushions and sponges, any part should not be cracked, and communication function should not be damaged. |
| Vibration Test | 1. Vibrate frequency: 14Hz-33Hz.
2. Vibrate acceleration: 98m/s2. 3. 1 hour per axis. 4. The changes of Speaker and Microphone sensitivity should not be more than 3dB, compared with the initial level; any part should not be cracked or become detached. |
| Salt Spray Test | 1. Sodium chloride (NaCI) solution concentrate: 5±1%(w/w).
2. PH value: 6.5-7.2. 3. Chamber Temperature: 33.3~37 4. Exposure period: 24hrs. 5. Requirement: No metal parts rust, no coating off. |
| Pulling Test (Cable) | 1. The cable should be able to withstand at least 8KG pulling force. |
| Goose Neck Torque Test | 1. Fix the MIC case and the Good Neck 2.5cm apart from the MIC case into torque tester.
2. The MIC case should be able to withstand at least 0.25NM torque without loose. |
| PTT Switch Life Test | 1. Holding down the button of PTT and release it is one cycle of the PTT life test. The PTT switch should function well after 50000 cycles. |
| Headband Force Measurement | 1. Test Condition: Remove all the earmuffs, put the headband at the initial position. Pull the cups to maintain 165mm distance, record the data after stabilized for 5~10s.
2. The initial Headband force is (900±200) gf. |
| MIC Boom Bending Test | 1. Fix the cup, and then rock MIC boom60 degree left, 60 degree right, the total rocking angle is 120 degree.
2. A cycle of rocking rest means that rock MIC boom from the left side to the right side and then back to the left side. 3. The MIC boom is solid after 5000 cycles rocking test. |
| Cushion Mounting Test | 1. Assemble ear cushion into cup repeatedly. No degradation in mechanical function after 10 cycles. |
